LinkWare Software talks to your tester and its remote unit to upload the software or to load a test database. You can also configure the tester with the names of your technicians, the names of the projects or job sites and an automatic cable ID sequence. When you load new software into the tester, you can save and restore any existing configuration.
Download a sequence for generating cable IDs
Use LinkWare to set your start ID and your stop ID, then download these to your DTX Series or DSP-4300 CableAnalyzer. Your tester uses this information to generate an entire sequence of IDs as you test, ensuring no IDs in the sequence are skipped during the testing.
Custom cable ID lists
If you have a DTX Series or DSP-4300 CableAnalyzer, you can download custom cable ID lists by copying them to the multimedia card. Insert the card in the tester and the cable ID lists will be available for selection. Alternately with the DTX CableAnalyzer, lists can be downloaded directly from the PC to the tester."
